So NOAA is recommending caution to anyone coming across those diseased ringed seals up on the north coast of Alaska. Seems they're dying left and right by some mystery affliction.
Do not eat any animals that appear sick or diseased;
* Wear rubber gloves when handling the animals;
* Thoroughly wash hands and all equipment after handling the animals;
* Fully cook any and all meat before eating.
